Research Review No. 28 Some new Drugs. - Karl2346 - Stopwasting - Action Duchenne - Fighting for a cure for muscular dystrophy: "Survival curves are plotted in the paper and they clearly show that being given bisphosphanates was “associated with a significant improvement in survival rate (P =.005, log-rank test).” They conclude with the sentence: “The treatment of patients with DMD with steroids and bisphosphonates seems to be associated with significantly improved survival compared with treatment with steroids alone.” This study on humans rather than mice should be taken very seriously as increased survival of years is recorded in this study."
